Description
It is a prebiotic rich in mannan - oligosaccharides (MOS), produced from the cell wall of a specially selected strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae. It acts as the flora modulator, promoting considerable improvement of zootechnical performance in the presence of health challenges.

Indications
Active MOS is indicated as a natural replacement for the promoters of growth, immunostimulant, breeder of the productive response of animals in periods of high stress and antibiotics to neutralize the impacts caused by pathogens in the integrity of the digestive system.

Action
In the gastrointestinal tract the mannan oligosaccharides present in the MOS Active bind to fimbriae of pathogenic bacteria, exercising a function of protection of enterocytes.
Due to the affinity of the mannan oligosaccharides to bacterial fimbriae, Active MOS has agglutinative function on pathogenic bacteria, by dragging them out of the gastrointestinal tract, inhibiting colonization of pathogens and generating improvement instestinal health and zootechnical performance of animals.
Beta glucans act as immunostimulants to interact synergistically with defense cells (macrophages, granulocytes, lymphocytes).
